Economic Development Division
The Economic Development Division is dedicated to encouraging economic and tourism growth in our community. On-going initiatives aimed at assisting the existing business community and attracting new business and entrepreneurs to the community will help to ensure that the Town of Georgina remains a vibrant community. The division is also focused on the future and ensuring that Georgina has the infrastructure, development policies, qualified labour force and fiscal responsibility to meet the needs of the future.

The Economic Development Grant Program has been revised. The mandate of the grant is to support fledgling projects or programs that promote the development of tourism or economic development in Georgina. Please contact the Office for additional information.
My Georgina Project
Georgina is growing. More people will be coming to live here and projections from the Provincial and Regional Governments tell us that the next 25 years will see a 50% increase in people living in our Town - that is an additional 23,000 residents.
