Ward 3 Councillor Dave Szollosy
Dave Szollosy is currently serving his third term on Municipal Council. He and his wife Lauretta Amundsen live in Willow Beach in the house his father
built fifty-plus years ago. Dave is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas School in Keswick and Sutton District High School. He holds degrees in Chemistry
and Education and an M.A. from the University of St. Michael's College.
Dave is an active member on the Town of Georgina's Environmental Advisory Committee, Georgina Heritage Committee, the Georgina Community Health Care Committee and Chairs the Committees on Lake Drive Safety and Equity and Diversity. In addition to his Ward Councillor duties, he works as a teacher and chaplain at a Scarborough High School, as well as conducts teacher training courses. Dave welcomes all contacts from members of the community. |
